Be a Part of the FFLC Internship

FFLC’s church launch is accommodated by the help of interns who are joining us for 1 year! This provides opportunities for you to learn and grow with the ministry from the ground up.
Internships with FFLC are part of an even larger vision under River Valley Fellowship of Ministries (RVFM). Our goal together is to plant 24 churches by 2027, in which 10 are already started.

“There’s no better soil than one who’s heart is open to move where God sends them!”

Internship Application

Check out the video to hear the vision and how other interns’ lives have been changed. There are so many opportunities for you to jump into: by continuing at FFLC, helping at one of the 10 existing RVFM churches, or even starting another church in the following year(s).

One Year Internship Informational Guidelines

This internship’s objective is to help launch a new church and to prepare you for ministry. You will be involved in multiple areas of the church. This is a great way to find your calling and place in ministry. Potentially you will be involved during three to four evenings (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and Sunday mornings. This depends on the area of ministry you are involved in. Some Saturdays might be needed. It is our desire to give you 2 days a week off.

Helping to launch this church is considered to be a mission field. It will have the same characteristics as if you were starting out on your own. You will need to secure a place to live. You can work full time during the days. All housing, food and personal expenses are your responsibility. The church needs you to help raise support as a missionary by sending out letters, emails and requests. There is no tuition cost, but FFLC is looking for $5000 per student. This comes to just over $400 a month for the church’s yearly expenses.

Time off is to be requested prior to the start of the internship on June 1, 2025. Time off during the year is to be requested 2 weeks in advance and needs to be approved with your ministry area covered while gone. Continued positions will be available at either FFLC or the other 10 churches already planted by RVFM. Referrals are given after completion to both future employers and to Charis.
